EcoCert Face Cream Update

by Ian Gabbidon on Jan 09, 2025

It's been a long and winding road getting our Ecocert face cream back in stock after two years! We have spent a long time over the last 10 years building on our customers trust and therefore we want to share with you the reason for our new packaging. As you may know, our cream has a high organic content, which requires special care to maintain its durability. To meet Ecocert's certification standards, we had to switch from jars to aerated pumps, which can preserve the cream's effectiveness for 16 months.

However, we've received feedback that the pumps can be challenging to open and dispense. As we are sure you are all aware this cream is the only product we do not manufactur ourselves so we're working closely with our manufacturer to resolve this issue, but in the meantime, here are some tips to help you get the most out of your product:

To open an aerated cream pump, simply twist the top of the pump counterclockwise to unlock it; most pumps have a visible indicator showing when it's in the "open" position, then press down on the pump lever to dispense the cream.

Key points to remember:

Check for twist mechanism: Most aerated cream pumps have a twist mechanism on the top to open and close them.

Twist counterclockwise: Generally, you need to twist the top counterclockwise to unlock the pump.

Press to dispense: Once unlocked, press down on the pump lever to dispense the cream.

Shake the pump well before use to ensure the cream is evenly distributed (we appreciate the cream is quite thick).

Run the bottle under warm water for a few seconds if it's difficult to pump out.

Store the cream in a cool, dry place to maintain its durability.

If you have access to a long scoop use this as a last resort for a hygienic way to dispense the cream.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to connect with us.

Please Note: You are entitled to a full refund on your product if you find it to be faulty please get in touch and we will rectify this immediately, please also note the fault does not occur with every bottle only a few are effected and we will provide another update once we have a solution from our manufacturer.
